Christmas was great this year. It was nice spending it with Hart.
We opened our presents to each other on Christmas Eve. He got me a beautiful necklace and a watch. He spent too much, but I love my gifts. I gave him a lot of clothes, a gift card and a stocking full of candy.
Later that night we went to church with my parents. Will, my 1 year old nephew was so cute. There was a little girl in front of him that kept playing with him and he was getting so loud. Lately he has been sticking out his tongue and screaming. He kept doing this in the service. I offered to take him outside, but my dad said he was fine. Everyone at my parents' church wanted to see him. He is a cutie!
After church we went to Hart's parents house. They have all their family come over that night and exchange presents. Hart's uncle is so funny. He made a photo album of pictures from Thanksgiving. Each picture had a caption he had written. One was a picture of Hart and I, and it said "Hart must have her fooled." Funny guy. I was really embarrassed when I saw that everyone had gotten me a present and I didn't have any for anyone. I told Hart that next year we would do better.
Christmas morning I did gifts with my parents and Hart did Christmas at his parents. Will was so cute. He kept wanting to play with his old toys that mom already had. He was not interested in opening gifts this year. He will be so much fun next year when he knows what is going on. Then Hart came over and my parents gave him their gifts. Then we went to my Nannie's house. (my mom's mom). We ate lunch and played games. It was a nice time.
I love Christmas. Partly because of the gifts, but mostly because everyone takes time to be with each other. You get a whole day to be with family.
Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!
